Microsoft Windows 8, 10, 2012 Server and later
On 64 bits processors with Java OpenJDK 11 installed (delivered with SOFiE installation) provided that Java OpenJDK 11 is supported on these OSs and also that the OS is still officially supported by the supplie, namely Microsoft.
Linux /Unix
Every distribution supporting Java OpenJDK 11 and a graphical interface should run on 64 bits processors ( Java OpenJDK is not delivered with SOFiE installation). Obviously, if the supplier of the used Linux or Unix version no longer supports it, we will no longer be able to guarantee the functioning of SOFiE on that operating system.

"Connected mode"
For user having an Internet connection.The Sofie client can directly access Sofie's central server, hosted at Worldline Financial Services (Europe) SA, for exchanging files.
"Stand-alone mode"
For users without an Internet connection. This mode can only be used if you have another SOFiE installation within your company in "Connected mode".
Usage
SOFiE functionalities can be used in GUI and/or batch mode.
